Ren'Py - Holiday Island [v0.4.5.1] [darkhound1]

Holiday Island is a great game with ever expanding content, constant feedback from developer, artwork is very nice to look at, frequent updates, a bit grindy but good in game hint system. Really looking forward to the future development of the game

Well put together game with lot's of contents and great art work. Unique story, which leads to curiosity about a possible hidden agenda.
Few bugs, but appears an active Developer who cares for his project. Needs a few game tweaks here and there.
Overall good gaming experience, only missing sound to be a masterpiece!

[as of 0.0.9.3] Continues to be the most fap-able game I've seen in a long time. Grind has purpose that is viewable\"tangable". Still requires user to cheat to NOT be overwhelmed by grind (tons of blue pills, gifts . Player Stat cheats are just a given Don't recommend cheating girl stats) If I were to play by the rules, I think the grind would really aggravate me and either cause me to berate the dev for artificially adding grind as a way of adding hrs/gameplay to the resume or just his vision & mine not clicking on what a post 50yo asshole that's in his 3rd decade of playing porn games considers grind. (I've played every Eushully title=Grind King)
Having said that, and gotten it out of the way, I love the variety and quality of the models. Several feel really fleshed out and "human" . Yvette reminds me of my ex, a 4'11" Cubana with 38 double D's gifted by genetics, not a Dr..(she was also gifted by gravity, something I notice is non-existent here, but that's a dev call.
(idk if breast gravity would even effect a still unless the poser let's you frame by frame a sex act. me=not knowledgeable on Posers that come with every Illusion title or 3daz, I do gameplay)
I love the hints at the larger plot you get with the Joy content. One critique, so far, beginning choices don't seem to be as crisp as should be. Granted, your choices are only reflected by the starting staff, (I think). Read the boob controversy posts, & agree with both sides. Dev's gonna do what he finds attractive/more lucrative/just cuz it's his/her's shit & you get on board or you find another game. You want input the dev is gonna listen to? make it worth his time on Patreon & don't whine on a free forum where you get free games & expect anyone to see you as other than whining & never take you seriously.
Con's: game has no real replayabilty once you get all the cell phone pics. Best to wait for every OTHER (or more) update to not play the game into the dirt & get bored. Having Amy on the island creates a glut of Random Amy Enconters when you're trying to get other girl's rando's.
Pro's: too many to mention, but ability to assigm Amy to time sensitive jobs so she doesn't glut the random encounter list is OK, the Ivy BJ scene is worth the price of admission. Just too funny. Keep up the good work Darkhound1

Hot storyline, game play keeps me interested. The choice to select body type preferences should be standard in every adult game. 3D model renders are very sexy. IMO only thing missing is big booty models for guys like me who like big asses!

FINALLY a groundbreaking "normal" game for the rest of us! A solid and simple story concept that revolves around gorgeous women with big tits. Holiday Island is a well designed, frequent updates, high quality game. Gameplay is actually fun, with a few minigames and spontaneous events that break up monotony. Almost like pokemon with bikini models. The developer is also very responsive to patrons of the game, and designs characters according to fan request.

There are a few bugs, but they are fixed pretty quickly. The poker game isn't super compelling more than a couple of times, but it's not too bad doing it once per character to unlock the poses. The only other disappointing thing is that although there was recently a great addition to the game in the form of a gallery for unlocked images, you can't repeat events on demand after they've been unlocked. All in all a great game, I recommend it highly.

I played the strip poker with the bartender girl but I can't seem move past her removing her tie. That is just a little issue I have with the games, sometime the bugs just make the game feel repetitive to play and a bit troublesome to progress. Would love to see the developer provide more scenes and scenarios such as BDSM, threesome, orgies etc. The game has really good foundation in its gameplay and varieties of girls ( the MC is the only guy in the game) that provided a lot of fun and exploration. The events are random but some scenes can tricky to proc and require certain objects or actions which can be confusing for new players without any guidance. I would love to see more beginner friendly improvements for smoother gameplay to make the game more enjoyable to more people.

Overall, solid 4 stars for good gameplay mechanics, variety of girls and enjoyable events and randomness. Left out 1 star due to lack of interesting plot or scenarios and require quite a lot of grind without using cheats.

Also die Frauen haben alle dicke Titten was mir sehr gefällt. Man kann sich eigentlich genug aussuchen vielleicht fehlt noch eine Asiatin wie Hitomi Tanaka zb ist mir aber relativ egal. Wenn es möglich wäre könnte er ja noch ein Walkthrough machen weil ich manchmal festhänge und nicht weiter weiß.

Good quality game with lots to do and lots to see. While it's entirely busty women, there's some variety and lots of new content with each update. There's a lot of potential here, and what is already produced has been very good.

Great game and the developer of the game is very social-able and tries his best to make the game he wants.

It's probably one of the best games out there and it keeps getting better by the month. I would recommended to try it now and if you like it keep up with it.

It's a true gem of a game.

Graphics are awesome and there are a lot of playlines. Also it is possible change gameplay by choose girls to come into the island. If you cannot discover some appointment, you are able to find another way to discover it without get the end of the game. Enjoy!

A really fun game (if you're into harem dating games). I'm relatively new to this kind of game. But what I can say for sure is that is has some nice graphics. Only thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars that we could see some more animation nowadays.

The UI looks clunky, the story is near non-existent, the grind is real and sometimes annoying and most of the current ingame events are mirrored over several girls. But boy oh boy: the girls! the images! the animations!

Darkhound has a unique cast of ladies for his game, all handmade, meaning no DMD-Daughters or BB-Moms. Most of them with gigantic breasts and hourglass figures, but individual enough to cater for almost every taste. My favorite (and luckily one of the girls with the most content) is Yvette. If you have a thing for small ladies with wide hips and big tiddies, she will press every single of your buttons, I promise!

Good game, probably somewhat underrated. Could be little less grindy at later stages.
Also graphics is not max res which is unfortunate. Not sure if connecting events to exact outfit is proper decision, plus some events are too well hidden. Gallery need some iprovement - sometimes it doesnt show most "juicy" part of later achivements.

Quests are well integrated in the general game flow.
There's a chance for nice plot/story progression in future.

This rating is based on version 0.0.7. This is great harem dating sim for those who like breasts anywhere between large and enormous. I am not saying that's a bad thing; I applaud the developer for sticking to a design and not giving into criticism about breast size. The model quality is top notch and the dialogue is entertaining. The game is still in the early stages, but there is still a lot of content. Each update adds hours of content and the quality keeps going up with the stuff added. Definitely worth throwing the dev a few $$$ for the quality and quantity of content.

Great game with top busty cheeks. As you understand if your poison is not busty girls then this game is not for you. Developer seems to be doing an excellent work adding content and fixing bugs even though the latter is not perfected yet. Overall an excellent game.

Extensive Game made in Ren'py with excellent 3D renders in IRay! So far, there are not that many actual sex scenes, but plenty magnificent girls in swimsuits to look at. The conversations with the girls (how you get their affection and into their pants) are also quite well written, but could use some more work in the future. As long as more scenes get added however, this deserves nothing but 5 stars.

The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs... The version this review is based on is v0.0.7...

This game looks like it's going to be a grindy game much like Superpowered, but with a way better interface...

The visuals of the characters are spot on, even though it does kind of cater more towards big breasted women, for those with that fetish... There is a cool and creative feature in the very beginning where you can select breast and body preferences, but unsure if that effects random girls or the choice list for the 2 girls you get to select at the beginning? The backdrops are all ok looking... The user interface is where this game shines...

The script looks good, as I don't remember seeing any spelling/grammar errors... The plot isn't much, and it's not really this games thing... As there really isn't much story in this game... You play a male protagonist, who is a lottery winner, winning a very long vacation stay, as the only guy, at a special beach resort where lots of company super models will also be attending and working there... Now, even though that is so far fetched and beyond reality, it's this games overall motif, being all about relationships and sex, so you just have to feign ignorance and keep playing... Nothing much else to it...

You need to increase the protagonists personal stats, such as strength, endurance, lust, etc... And you also need to raise all the female characters stats, such as lust, personal affection, personal love, etc... By doing that, you open up new content... There is a caveat to that though, as sometimes performing certain requests will lower the characters stats (sort of like a purchase system)... Plus, there is the chat function, which I'm not a fan of in any game that uses it, that you have to pay real close attention to, because some chat subjects decrease affection... And it's different for every female character, as to what is positive and what is negative...

In any case, there are lots of other features such as strip poker games with the female characters who show up at the bar at night (this is one of the only ways of seeing full nudity in the current content, but the choices for actually winning are limited, as they are still under construction)... Some scheduled events that pop up on the protagonists cell phone, even though they don't really do anything yet (WIP)... Quests, of which there is only one I ran into from the nurse... Get ready for lots of masturbating in the protagonists room every day... The quests are the current way of getting overall Holiday Island Favor, as well as character specific favor... Didn't see any other way to get the different favors, unless it's something hidden...

Overall, for it just being a highly grindy relationship sex game, it's not bad... It's just not something I find terribly interesting, because the grind is insane and it lacks any story elements, beyond the intro... I'm sure some folks will love it, but that pretty much categorizes it as a niche game... I really did find the overall UI very impressive compared to other games that use the same exact game play design... Plus this game shows lots of information on the different characters via the cell phone, which was also impressive... I think the game shows a lot of promise for what it is, but it's just not something I want to waste time playing, as I'm not a fan of super grindy games... I will most likely not revisit this game, and not because it's flawed or anything... This game is very early into it's development, so there isn't much in the way of sex content for the moment, but the basic mechanics seem spot on... Best of luck to the author/s...
